Great Washington Road Trip-Part 3-Leavenworth

As part of our Washington State Road trip, we stopped in Leavenworth, WA. It's an old timber town that reinvented itself as a Bavarian Village in the mountains when timber dried up. It's a cute town. There are a number of dog-friendly restaurants and businesses. The weather was beautiful after four days of rain on this trip. Here's Kendall in the town square.

A shot down the main street.

We had lunch at Munchen Haus, a little beer garden tucked in among the shops. It's pet and children friendly. Their brats are delicious and they must have 15 different types of mustards from which to choose.

I don't usually publish pictures of myself on Kendall's blog, but this one was too cute to pass by (Kendall, not me).

Here are some random pictures taken around town.

I also wanted to mention that there's a great pet store in downtown Leavenworth. It's called A Paw Above. They have lots of quality dog treats and food as well as everything else you need for your pet. It's worth a visit.

From here we traveled to Port Townsend, WA via the Edmonds-Kingston ferry. I'll post more pictures in the next couple of posts.

I have soooo wanted to visit Leavenworth during the Christmas season! They have a wonderful fair and "little" event that looks like so much fun! I just wish it wasn't so far away.
