A New Birdfeeder
I know this isn't Kendall related at all, but I wanted to show off my new bird feeder. I don't even know if I'll be able to bring myself to fill it with bird food and make it all dirty.
That is so cute. Did you make it or buy it like that? I don't know if I'd want to fill it with bird seed either, but then again once you see some little birds coming to feed in there it will bring you such delight and pleasure. We have a bird bath in our front yard and all sorts of birds come to bathe there. It gets so dirty and the water becomes filthy very quickly after the crows drop bread in it to soften and then return later to collect it. It's annoying as we have to clean it out at least once a week, but just seeing the birds using it from our living room window brings us much pleasure. Even Marley and Jasper are intrigued watching and barking at our feathured visitors. I've been meaning to write a post about it for awhile now....you've inspired me to do so. Enjoy your bird house and then share it with others when you feel inclined.
I bought the bird house already painted like that. It looked whimsical and caught my eye. We have another feeder and a bird bath out along the fence that attracts quite a few birds - especially when it snows. It's time for me to clean out the hummingbird feeder and put it back out, too. The hummingbirds will winter over if you put the feeders out before all of the flowers are gone.
