Yesterday, Kendall and I took the Delta Society Pet Partner test, and we passed with flying colors! Kendall was so good throughout the entire test. She didn't jump up on anyone, which was our problem the first time we tested in February. The test consists of a skills portion and then an aptitude portion. She gave a couple of kisses, which they seemed to allow, but no lunging.
We scored a complex environment rating, which means that we can visit just about anywhere as a pet partner therapy team. Now, we just have to take care of the paperwork, and we'll be able start visiting. I don't know where we'll fit in, but I'm looking forward to the new adventure.
