All ready for spring

Kendall usually comes home from the groomer with bows in her hair. This time she came home with nice springy bows.

Sunshine

The sun came out last week just enough to break out the patio chairs and cushions. No sooner had I put out the cushions when Kendall jumped in the chair and claimed it as hers.

Here she is after a nice glass of wine. Just kidding.

Once I kicked her out of the chair she moved to the porch for some sun bathing.

Puzzle class

We took Kendall to the Puzzles for Canine Brainiacs class today at the Oregon Humane Society. It was a class that was geared to teach you how to stimulate your dog's mental side. Dogs need both physical and mental exercise. We were doing great on the physical exercise but had run out of games/tricks to teach Kendall. She's too smart for her own good. We picked up some good ideas today, and Kendall had a great time.

She was one tired dog when we got home. She had been to small dog play hour this morning, ran a bunch of errands with us in the afternoon, and then attended the class.

You'd think she'd be sleeping now, but she's currently playing with the ball I got her that dispenses food as she rolls it around on the floor.

She found a toy she liked. Unfortunately, it was a bit big for her and she got scared by it once it rolled around.

This was a smaller ball, but we couldn't even get a treat out of it. A bit too hard.

Back in Business

Turns out my old computer was dead and not easily revived. I've got a new computer, and I don't travel for business until July. I'm back in business, as they say.

The sun was shining today. It was nice because it wasn't predicted. We took Kendall out for a ride and then to PetSmart. When we got home she and Rico were hanging out and I shot a few pictures.

Temporary hiatus

A combination of lots of business travel and a computer that quit working has made it difficult to post lately. I'm home from traveling for a little while and got a new computer today. Now I need to see about recovering the photos and other data that happened between my last backup and the computer dying. What fun. We'll be back soon with lots of new photos.

One tired puppy

Kendall has decided that she loves laying by the fire. These pictures were taken after a long day at doggie day care.

All ready for St. Patrick's Day

Kendall came home from the groomer on Wed, where she got a much-needed bath, with green bows in her hair. As you can see, they were already askew by the time I got home from work. They didn't last much longer than the time it took to take the picture.
